How the Careers Centre assists your students

The Careers Centre assists ANU students and graduates (for up to two years after graduation) to:

  • Identify career options and preferences
  • Understand the labour market
  • Identify and articulate the knowledge, technical and employability skills gained through their study and extracurricular activities
  • Prepare excellent, industry relevant applications
  • Prepare for job interviews and other selection and assessment processes
  • Access potential employers through Careers Fairs, the on-campus Employer Visits Program and in workshops and specialised programs
  • Identify relevant employers across all sectors, locally, nationally and internationally
  • Access graduate, vacation, part-time and casual, and voluntary employment opportunities directly through the ANU CareerHub jobs noticeboard
  • Access and make the most of Internships and work experience through ANU Connections

Students: practise questions by job sector.

Academic staff: tailor questions for your discipline.
