Drop-in consultations

Monday 11am - 12.30pm
Wednesday 2pm - 4pm
Friday 9.30am - 11.30am

These brief 15-minute sessions are for quick queries such as:

  • resume and application form checking
  • possible interview questions
  • urgent career related issues
  • job search strategies

Bookings are not required. Students will be seen on a first come first served basis.

 

Career counselling appointments

Confidential career counselling appointments are bookable after attending a drop-in consultation. Careers consultants can help with career planning, decision-making, gaining work experience, employment opportunities and further study.

 

Employer events

Our employer events include: careers fairs, on-campus presentations and networking events. Detailed information about opportunities suitable for students from all years is available in our Jobs and employers section.

 

Careers resource library

Our careers resource library offers a comfortable environment in which you can research your career options, job applications and increase your employability. Detailed information about our resources, computers and useful websites is available in our Resources section.

 

Online job vacancies and career development tools

Registering with CareerHub will give you access to our job and internship vacancies. Our web-based career development tools can help you apply and interview for jobs and research employers.

 

Eligibility for our services

You may access our services if you are a current student or have graduated within the last two years. If you are not eligible you may wish to consult a Careers Adviser at a Centrelink Information Centre (free for Australians) or from the Career Development Association of Australia (charges apply).
